Blanxer OS Alternative: Saauzi vs Blanxer Compared (2026 Pricing)

Blanxer OS Alternative: Saauzi vs Blanxer Compared (2026 Pricing)

If you have been looking at Blanxer OS for your business, you have probably noticed how it is described: "The Commerce OS for Nepal", one system for online and offline selling, payments, inventory and logistics. That is a fair description, and Blanxer is a genuinely capable Nepali product with hundreds of stores running on it. But "one system for your whole business" is a big promise, and before you commit a year of subscription to it you should know exactly where it fits your shop and where it does not.

This is an honest, number-by-number Blanxer OS alternative comparison against Saauzi. Both are built in Nepal, both handle NPR, eSewa, Khalti and Fonepay, and both put a website and a counter in one place. They price themselves in completely different ways, though, and that difference decides which one is cheaper for you — sometimes by more than a lakh a year, in either direction.

One platform for the whole business. A store builder is only one part of running a business. Saauzi is an all-in-one ERP: POS, restaurant POS, online store, inventory and cashbook share one catalog, one stock and one book, so a sale at the counter or online updates everywhere. Start with one app free and add the rest when you need them.

First, what people mean by "Blanxer OS"

Blanxer markets itself as a commerce operating system rather than a website builder, and its homepage leads with "Run Your Entire Business From One System". So when people search for a Blanxer OS alternative, they are almost always asking one of these:

Those are four different questions with four different answers. The comparison below separates them out.

The in-depth comparison

Everything in this section is taken from each company's own public pricing page, checked on 22 September 2026. Plans change, so re-check both before you buy — but as of today, this is the shape of the decision.

What each plan costs and what it caps

Blanxer prices per account, in four tiers, with limits on how much you can put through each one:

Blanxer planPriceQR payment feeOrders / yearProductsStaff
BasicRs 24,000 / year3.9%5,000200Up to 5
PremiumRs 28,000 / year3%20,0001,000Up to 10
Business PlusRs 38,000 / year3%50,0002,000Up to 20
PlatinumRs 48,000 / year2.75%Unlimited5,000Up to 50

Additional outlets on the Platinum plan carry a one-time setup charge of Rs 15,000 per outlet.

Saauzi prices per user, with no caps on what you push through it:

The free tier gives you one app — a POS, or a store, or a cashbook — with unlimited users and unlimited orders, on a yourname.saauzi.com address. The paid tier unlocks every app and lets you use your own domain.

The cost that actually decides it: the QR fee

Most people compare the subscription line and stop there. For a shop that takes real money over QR, that is the smaller number. Work it through.

Say you do Rs 1 crore a year in sales and three quarters of it comes in by QR, which is normal for a Nepali retail counter now. That is Rs 75,00,000 through QR.

The subscription difference between the two platforms is measured in tens of thousands of rupees. The QR fee difference, at that volume, is measured in lakhs. If you take most of your money by QR, this single line will decide your answer no matter what else you like about either product.

The reverse is also true and worth saying plainly: if your sales are mostly cash over the counter, or cash on delivery, the percentage barely touches you and this whole section is noise for your business.

Where Blanxer OS is the better buy

We are not going to pretend the answer is always Saauzi. Blanxer wins clearly in one situation, and it wins by a lot.

Many light-touch logins on a commerce-only setup. Blanxer charges per account, so if you have a long list of counter staff who each need a login, a catalogue comfortably inside a few thousand products, sales that are mostly cash, and no need for anything beyond selling, the per-account model is hard to beat. Twenty logins on Business Plus is Rs 38,000 a year. If that describes your business, buy it.

That advantage holds for as long as you stay inside the plan's limits and inside commerce. It is a commerce product priced for commerce, and within that scope it is an established one, with a bundled Fonepay dynamic QR API on every tier and a long track record of Nepali stores live on it.

Blanxer is also the more established commerce product in the market, with a longer track record of Nepali stores live on it, and a bundled Fonepay dynamic QR API on every tier.

Where Saauzi is the better buy

Small teams with real volume. A two or three person shop doing serious numbers is the case Saauzi is built for. Two users is Rs 24,000 a year with no caps and no commission. To get unlimited orders on Blanxer you need Platinum at Rs 48,000, plus the percentage.

Big catalogues. Blanxer caps products by tier, topping out at 5,000 on Platinum. A grocery, a pharmacy, an electronics shop or a hardware store passes 5,000 SKUs without trying. Saauzi does not cap products on any tier, including the free one.

Businesses that are more than a shop. This is the real structural difference. Blanxer is a commerce system: selling, stock, payments, delivery. Saauzi is an ERP, so alongside POS Shop, POS Restaurant and the online store you also get CRM, Projects, Team and HR, Logistics and Billing on the same login and the same subscription. If your business has staff to manage, clients to follow up and projects to bill, that is work that lives outside a commerce OS entirely.

Anyone who wants to try before paying. Saauzi has a free forever tier with unlimited users and unlimited orders. Blanxer's entry point is Rs 24,000 for the year.

The part most comparisons miss: the corporate tier

At the small end, these two look like the same kind of product. They stop looking alike the moment a business is big enough to have a head office.

Saauzi is an ERP suite rather than a commerce tool — something a business grows into, not out of. The same subscription that gives a single shop a POS also carries CRM, Projects, Team, Hire, Invoicing, Expenses, Bookings, Logistics and Analytics. For a company with staff to manage, clients to chase, projects to bill and several entities to consolidate, that is the whole job — and none of it is commerce.

That range is the point. The same platform runs a one-person vendor on the free tier and an organisation with thousands of employees across several registered companies on Enterprise, without changing systems anywhere in between.

What the Saauzi Enterprise tier adds

Enterprise is Rs 30,000 per user per year, minimum three users, and on top of everything in All Apps it adds the four things a corporate buyer actually asks about:

At enterprise scale, price per seat stops being the question

Below a certain size, software is bought on price per user. Above it, that is no longer the deciding number. An organisation with thousands of staff across several companies is not choosing between Rs 12,000 and Rs 30,000 a seat — it is asking whether one system can hold the whole operation together: how many companies it runs under one set of controls, whether the data can be isolated for audit, whether its own developers can build on the API, and how many separate tools it retires by moving. Next to the cost of running five disconnected systems and reconciling them by hand, the licence line is a rounding error.

That is the question the Enterprise tier is built to answer, and it is a different question from the one a commerce plan is priced for.

Two different routes to the same place

To be fair to Blanxer: they do serve larger clients, but they go about it a different way. Blanxer's enterprise offer is a bespoke engagement — audit your workflow, design a system around it, build it, integrate it, deploy it. Saauzi's is a productised tier — the same platform everyone else uses, with isolation, multi-company control and an API switched on, at a price published on the website.

Neither is automatically better, and the trade-off is a real one:

If your operation is genuinely unusual — a manufacturing flow nobody else runs, a regulatory process with no standard shape — a custom build may be the honest answer, from Blanxer or anyone else. If your business is a normal business that has simply outgrown small-business software, paying for a bespoke system to do what a standard ERP already does is an expensive way to arrive at the same place.

The practical difference on Blanxer's published plans is that Platinum, at Rs 48,000 a year, is still a commerce plan: it caps products at 5,000 and staff at 50, and additional outlets carry a Rs 15,000 setup charge each. Anything beyond that shape is a conversation with their sales team rather than a tier you can read and buy.

Who this tier is actually for

Not every growing business needs Enterprise, and we would rather you did not buy it if you do not. It earns its price when at least one of these is true:

If none of those are true yet, the All Apps plan at Rs 12,000 per user covers you, and you can move up without changing systems.

Four real scenarios

A boutique in New Road: 2 staff, 4,000 orders, 300 products, mostly QR

Blanxer: Basic covers the orders but caps products at 200, so you need Premium at Rs 28,000. On Rs 40,00,000 of QR sales the 3% fee adds Rs 1,20,000. Total roughly Rs 1,48,000.

Saauzi: two users at Rs 12,000 is Rs 24,000, no commission. Total Rs 24,000.

A restaurant group: 18 staff across 3 outlets, mostly cash and card

Blanxer: Business Plus at Rs 38,000 covers 20 staff. Total roughly Rs 38,000, plus outlet setup if you are on Platinum.

Saauzi: 18 users on All Apps is Rs 2,16,000, and you are paying for what comes with it — CRM, Team, Projects, Invoicing, Expenses and Analytics alongside the POS. So the honest comparison depends on what the group actually wants. A group that keeps rosters, payroll and supplier bills in spreadsheets today is weighing Rs 38,000 against replacing five systems with one. A group that genuinely only rings up sales should take the cheaper option, and we would tell them so.

An electronics shop: 4 staff, 8,000 SKUs, 15,000 orders

Blanxer: 8,000 products exceeds even Platinum's 5,000 cap, so the plan does not fit the business at any price without a custom arrangement.

Saauzi: four users at Rs 12,000 is Rs 48,000, with no product or order cap. Total Rs 48,000.

A group with three companies: 25 staff, two trading entities and a services arm

Blanxer: three registered companies sit outside what the published plans describe, so this becomes a custom engagement and a quoted price rather than a number you can compare here.

Saauzi: 25 users on Enterprise at Rs 30,000 is Rs 7,50,000 a year, with all three entities under one set of admin controls, an isolated database and API access. On All Apps it would be Rs 3,00,000 without the isolation or multi-company control. The right answer depends on whether the audit and consolidation requirements are real for you — if they are not, do not pay for them.

What both do well

It would be dishonest to write this as though only one side understands Nepal. Both platforms handle what a foreign tool like Shopify does not:

If you are choosing between a Nepali platform and a foreign one, either of these beats the foreign one. The comparison on this page is only about which Nepali one fits you.

How to decide in an afternoon

Do not decide from a table, including this one. Do this instead:

  1. Count your SKUs. If it is over 5,000, the question is already answered.
  2. Count your staff logins. Over about eight, Blanxer's per-account pricing starts winning.
  3. Work out what share of last year's sales came in by QR, and multiply it by 3%. Compare that number to the subscription difference.
  4. List your three bestselling products on both, ring up a counter sale, and run one real Fonepay checkout end to end.
  5. Check that the end-of-day total on the counter matches what the website says. That is the test that actually matters.

The honest takeaway

Choose Blanxer OS if what you need is commerce and only commerce: a catalogue inside a few thousand products, sales that are mostly cash, and a list of counter logins on a simple setup. Its per-account pricing fits that shape well and it is a solid commerce system.

Choose Saauzi if you want one system that covers the business rather than the shop front — and one that still fits when the business is much bigger. That range runs from a single vendor on the free tier, through a growing SME on All Apps, to an organisation with thousands of employees and several registered companies on Enterprise, with an isolated database, multi-company controls and an API. It is also the answer if you take most of your money by QR and would rather not hand over 3% of it, or if your catalogue is already past what a commerce plan will hold.

At the corporate end that matters most: the Enterprise tier gives you an isolated database, multi-company admin and API access as a published plan you can read and buy, in the same product your shop floor already uses — so scaling up is a change of tier, not a migration.

If you are still unsure, start on Saauzi's free tier. It costs nothing, it does not cap your orders, and you can run a genuine side-by-side test with your own products before a rupee changes hands.
