If you're looking for a Zoho alternative, you probably already know Zoho is capable. It's one of the biggest business software suites around. The real question is whether your business needs a broad back-office suite, or a system built around the counter, the shelf and the cash drawer.
This guide compares Saauzi and Zoho fairly for a growing shop or restaurant: how each is put together, what each costs at the time of writing (September 2026), and when Zoho is simply the better choice. If the term ERP is new to you, start with our plain-English guide to what an ERP is for a small business.
The short answer
Zoho is the stronger pick if you want an advanced CRM, payroll, a helpdesk and formal accounting from one vendor.
Saauzi is the simpler pick if your business lives on the shop floor. The POS, online store, stock and daily cash share one catalog, one stock and one book from day one, and one flat per-user price unlocks every app.
How Zoho is put together
Zoho is a family of apps. At the time of writing (September 2026), a small business usually buys it in one of these ways:
- Zoho One: a bundle of 45+ apps, including CRM, Books, People (HR), Desk (helpdesk) and Inventory. It costs about US$37 per employee per month on the All-Employee plan billed annually, or about US$90 per user per month on the Flexible plan.
- Zoho Books: formal accounting, priced separately, from a free tier up to roughly US$60 per month per organisation.
- Zoho POS: a real point-of-sale app with Free, Standard, Professional and Premium tiers, from about US$15 per month billed annually. It handles multi-outlet and warehouse stock, and it launched in the US in June 2026.
So yes, Zoho has a POS, and a capable one. You can take the bundle or combine individual apps. Prices vary by country, plan and billing period.
How Saauzi is put together
Saauzi is an all-in-one ERP: a suite of business apps covering point of sale, eCommerce, inventory, cashbook and more, on one platform. It runs in any browser on a laptop, tablet or phone, with no code and no implementation project.
Every app sits on one shared core. A sale at the counter or online reduces stock everywhere and posts to Cashbook automatically, so the counter, the website, the stock and the books match without double entry. The apps available today are:
- POS: fast billing with barcode scan, split payment across cash and wallet, VAT/PAN-ready bills and sales reports. It keeps billing offline and syncs when you're back online, and runs multiple outlets from one account, with per-outlet stock and sales rolling up into one view.
- Restaurant POS: tables and a floor plan, KOT to the kitchen display, menu items with options like half and full portions, and split and merge bills.
- Inventory: live stock across every outlet and the online store, a low-stock list, stock adjustments with history, and purchase entries from suppliers.
- Online Store: a branded, mobile-first storefront on the same catalog and stock, accepting eSewa, Khalti, cards and cash on delivery.
- Cashbook: a digital khata for cash, bank and wallet accounts, with same-day drawer reconciliation and clean exports for your accountant.
- Projects, CRM and HRM: projects with a task board, billable timesheets and client invoices; a sales pipeline of leads through stages with follow-ups; and employees, departments, leave and hiring with a public careers page.

Where the difference shows up day to day
When the internet drops
A counter can't stop billing because the connection flickers. Saauzi POS keeps billing offline and syncs when you're back online, so the queue keeps moving.
When customers pay by wallet
Saauzi's Online Store accepts eSewa and Khalti, the POS can split one bill across cash and wallet, and Cashbook keeps each wallet as its own account so you can match it daily. With any system, confirm the wallets your customers actually use are supported in your country.
When you run a kitchen
Restaurants need tables, KOTs and split bills, not just a product list. Saauzi's Restaurant POS covers these on the same platform as the retail apps.
Pricing: a worked example
Say you run one shop with three people who need logins. These are list prices at the time of writing, and prices vary by country, plan and billing period.
- Saauzi: your first app is free forever. To unlock every app, it's NPR 1,500 per user per month: NPR 4,500 a month for three users, or NPR 36,000 a year on the annual plan. Internationally, that's US$60 a month or US$600 a year. There's no commission on sales.
- Zoho One: about US$111 a month on the All-Employee plan billed annually, if those three are your only employees (that plan licenses everyone on staff), or about US$270 a month for three users on the Flexible plan, with far more apps included.
- Zoho POS plus Zoho Books: POS from about US$15 a month billed annually, and Books from free to about US$60 a month per organisation, depending on the tiers you need.
Neither is always cheaper. The difference is that Saauzi is one number covering every app, while Zoho asks you to pick a bundle or a combination. Compare current Saauzi plans on the pricing page.
When Zoho is the better choice
- You need an advanced CRM. Saauzi's CRM is a simple pipeline of leads through stages with follow-ups. If you need automation and deep sales reporting, Zoho CRM goes much further.
- You need payroll or advanced HR. Saauzi's HRM covers employees, departments, leave and hiring, but not payroll. Zoho's wider HR tools go further.
- You run a support team. Zoho Desk gives you a helpdesk. Saauzi doesn't have one.
- You need formal accounting. Zoho Books is proper accounting software. Saauzi's Cashbook is a daily cash book, not full accounting.
- Your team already works in Zoho. Adding Zoho POS keeps everything with one vendor.
The same breadth-versus-focus trade-off comes up when you compare Saauzi with Odoo for small businesses. If accounting is your main question, Saauzi vs Tally explains when an accountant's tool is what you need.
When Saauzi is the better choice
- You run a shop, a few outlets or a restaurant, and the counter is where the day happens.
- You want the POS, online store, stock and cash to match out of the box.
- You need billing to keep going when the internet drops, and your customers pay with eSewa or Khalti.
- You'd rather start with one app free and pay one flat per-user price for the rest.
If you're only comparing online store builders, our earlier Zoho Commerce alternative post covers that side.
FAQ
Is Saauzi a good Zoho One alternative?
It depends on what you use Zoho One for. If you mainly need POS, inventory, an online store and daily cash, Saauzi covers that in one suite at one flat per-user price. If you rely on an advanced CRM, payroll, a helpdesk or formal accounting, Zoho One covers far more.
Does Zoho have a POS?
Yes. At the time of writing, Zoho POS has Free, Standard, Professional and Premium tiers from about US$15 a month billed annually, with multi-outlet and warehouse stock.
Can Saauzi replace Zoho Books?
No. Cashbook tracks income, expenses and transfers across cash, bank and wallet accounts and gives you clean exports, but it is not full accounting software. A common setup is to run the counter and daily cash in Saauzi and hand those exports to your accountant.
Does Saauzi integrate with Zoho?
Not today. If you keep Zoho Books for accounting, you can pass your accountant Cashbook exports instead of re-typing sales.
The easiest way to decide is to try it on your own counter. Start with one app free, add the rest when you need them, and see whether one catalog, one stock and one book fits the way you work: get started with Saauzi.
